Dhāraṇī Sutra
This sutra tells of the past causes and conditions of the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion, Regarder of the World’s Sounds [Avalokiteśvara], and of the various ways of practicing the Great Compassion Mantra. It is a fundamental text of the Esoteric School.
The full title of the work is The Sutra of the Vast, Great, Perfect, Full, Unimpeded Great Compassion Heart Dhāraṇī of the Thousand-Handed Thousand-Eyed Bodhisattva Who Regards the World’s Sounds.
