Visit DRBU

Prospective students are encouraged to visit the main campus in Ukiah to meet our faculty and students in person, observe classes, attend special events, or participate in week long retreats to decide if the unique study environment at DRBU is a good match for their educational aims.

The main campus is located only two hours north of San Francisco nestled in a beautiful valley alongside low, rolling mountains within the gates of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, which houses, in addition to the university, a Buddhist monastery, an elementary school and a high school, and an institute for the translation of Buddhist texts.  The campus encompasses over 700 square acres of land with several trails for hiking and biking, and also orchards, vineyards and a 7 acre organic garden which produces a large quantity of the fruits and vegetables served in our dining hall.
