General Information

The Dharma Realm Buddhist University (DRBU) offers four-year, 120 unit, undergraduate degree programs in Buddhist Study & Practice, in Translation & Language Studies, and in Chinese Studies; and, Master’s degree programs in Buddhist Study & Practice, in Translation & Language Studies, and in Buddhist Education. Undergraduate students are required to take a minimum of 12 units per semester; graduate students are required to take a minimum of 9 units per semester. Summer session registration is optional. DRBU does not offer correspondence courses at this time.
Its degree programs are approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, but not accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
